Connection Fee
Connection fee is deducted from the calling card's balance every time when the connection is established. Normally cards with connection fee have very LOW RATES that can be a great source of saving for Long Calls.

Disconnection Fee
Disconnection fee is deducted from the calling card's balance AFTER the call is made. Normally cards with disconnection fee have very LOW RATES that can be a great source of saving for Long Calls.

Maintenance Fee
This fee may be applied to calling card's balance every specific period. Maintenance fee can be deducted from card's balance every week or every two weeks depending on the card.

Rounding
Rounding means the billing increment unit. Examples:
- 1 Minute Rounding: means that billing increment is 1 minute. Ex.: a call for 50 seconds will be billed as 1 minute; a call for 2 minutes and 50 seconds will be billed as 3 minutes.
- 3 Minute Rounding: means that billing increment is 3 minutes. Ex.: a call for 2 minutes and 50 seconds will be billed as 3 minutes. A call for 7 minutes and 50 seconds will be billed as 9 minutes.
- 1+3 Minute Rounding: means that for calls less than 1 minute, you will be charged for 1 minute. For calls more than 1 minute, the first minute will be charged 1 minute and the following minutes will be at a 3 minute increments. Ex.: a call for 50 seconds will be billed as 1 minutes. A call for 2 minutes and 50 seconds will be billed as 4 minutes.

Service Fee
It may be applied to calling card's balance for every phone call. For example, if the rate is 5 c/min and the Service fee is 10%, $0.55 will be deducted from the calling card’s balance for 10 minutes call. ($0.50 + $0.05 Service Fee)

Toll Free Access number
This is a nationwide free of charge access number that you dial to start using a phone card. Ex. Phone numbers starts with 800, 866, 877 or 888. You can use them from any phone.

Local Access number
Local access means that instead of using a toll free number to dial into our system to place a call, you dial a local number in your area code. Many of our Calling Cards have local access numbers. If your Calling Card offers local access please use a local access number to get the most minutes possible out of your card. If a local access number is not available in your city, you can also use our toll free number.

Payphone Surcharge
This charge applies to phone card's balance for every call made from a public payphone. Payphone - a phone that accepts coins or encoded credit cards. This fee is imposed by the FCC (The Federal Communications Commission)

Card Expiration
Calling card's expiration period, that begins on the day of the first call. We have calling cards that expire in 3 months, 6 months and one year. We also have calling cards that NEVER expire.
